I went to the book store today and fell in love with a book about Patti Smith. This wirey woman has rocked out in grunge and menswear inspired looks since the 70s. I especially love the look of her swimming in a mens blazer contrasted with skinny jeans. She makes me want to take a look inside my fathers closet.
Although she presents herself as a woman of power she has a heart for poetry. When most people think of Patti they immediatly think of punk, not artist. She has a passion for the lyrical side of music as well as rock n' roll. With poetry along with images all sides of her are displayed in Patti Smith Comple 1975-2006. As soon as I get some extra cash that book will be added to my personal library.
