Paul Hartnett

Street fashion seems to be everywhere. There are a million blogs and quirky lifestyle zines out photographing kids about towns. Paul Hartnett manages to be "raw and real" (his own words) by going beyond a simple photo. He took his first polaroid in a night club in the seventies and photographs who he calls the "messed up" and the "dressed up." For the past thirty years Hartnett has been able to capture not only the clothing, but also the essence of the individuals who probably created them. He has an eye for the freaks and he isn't a afraid to take their picture. Now that's what I call street fashion.

These are great, thanks for the tip on his photography.

I think Patrick Wolf is on the left in the second photo from the top.

In response to your response on my Virgin Suicides post. I love both the book and the movie. Will you be posting your designs anytime soon? I would really enjoy seeing them.
