"All the stars and boulevards..."

Dear Readers,

Sorry for the lack of updates. I probably won't be able to type much for a while. Probably just some photos or music videos instead. In the mean time I need a new favortie magazine. Any suggestions? Alot of people have become displeased with my former favorite, Nylon. I won't judge. All I'll say is that people grow and change and I suppose magazines do too.
For now, I'm obsessed with this song and video. I've actually loved it for years. There's a feel about it that I can't describe. I just know that it's the kind of song you can play for hours and hours in the summer. Especially from twilight into the evening.
Hope all is well,
xo

I don't know if you are just looking for music magazines, but Lula is always fun to read, and beautiful. Actually, I don't even know if that is a magazine. Well I'm sure you've seen it around. You can get them at Borders. ^_^

Yes, I have noticed the change in Nylon as well and am very disappointed. Really hate it now actually. We should start our own magazing. ehhe...

ahhh...beautiful rich song--and such a lush-lit video... Thanks for posting it :)

Have you seen Gimme Shelter? I'm sure you have, but if you haven't, I think you'd love it; seems to be your aesthetic. Here's a clip from the ending--

I do like Lula <3 The photography is so beautiful. Sometimes I have a difficult time getting issues though. Borders sells out :(

I haven't seen Gimme Shelter. I will look into it.

I am in love with the photography you have on here; as for the song, its very Jack's Mannequin-esque.

Some good reads I like:
MissBehave
RUSSH
Vanity Fair
BUST
Plastique
Another Magazine
I-D
Pop

Of all these I think MissBehave to be the most similar, but far more hip to, your old standby, Nylon. I thought that was done & over with ages ago, the writing sucks, and the pics have always been so/so. Anyway, hope you are able to update your images and such as I always come visit your blog first in my daily rounds :) you are a genuinely good blogger, and that is something to be proud of!! Am hopeful you continue to write and update as time permits. Bless!

You can pick up most of these mags at your local Borders/B&N, I have not found either store to be lacking in any of these through the last 2-3 years. Hugs galore xo

I like Blend Magazine http://www.blend.nl/english-version
but like they say maybe one day it will be English

NYLON has been sucking lately. it has lost it edge. i really couldn't stand the nike cross promotion that they did throughout last month's issue. after a couple of disappointing issues, i don't think i'll be buying it any longer.

tho i have a new fav mag. BUST mag is amazing.
